People keep asking me what's growing in our garden this winter and the truthful answer is "not much." I haven't gotten back into the swing since coming back from our long trip. However we have a beautiful bed of chard that is producing many dinners for us. Tonight it is chard with our pasta. E did the picking today- our family uses 9 large leaves of chard for a side dish. They "melt down" a lot when they are steamed or boiled. I am dreaming fondly of our summer garden - some of which we will be seeding in January.
