14 miles of biking at Nisene Marks. 7 miles up and 7 miles down. Beautiful day!

The psychology of mountain biking uphill with kids is this: when the pedaling gets too hard, getting off and pushing the bike feels so good. When that gets too hard, pushing the bike for the kid and letting them walk unfettered makes them skip around in circles happy as a clam. Yet they're still slogging on up the hill. Brilliant.
