Pine needle basket

I've been working on this basket at night while T has been in NM. I'm using pine needles from the ponderosa pine trees at Lietz elementary in San Jose. It measures about 7.5" in diameter and almost 2" tall so far and represents over 10 hours of stitching.

Two more wrapped stones

I am lacking many of the tools for doing these correctly, I'm only have a basic pair of pliers. But I like the beginnings of this new technique!
