Green grasslands and trees everywhere. Lots of flies including huge black bugs as big as hummingbirds that look like huge black hairy wasps. Another first this morning (in Oklahoma) - "Mommy, is that a firefly?" Why yes it was. We saw two of them at 3:30am, when we packed up camp to move on. We left a note on North Carolina's window (I never asked our neighbor his name, oops) saying "thanks" for the matches and tent stakes.
St. Louis is about 300 more miles, and I cracked out the DS'S for the first time since ABQ, so we might make it by 5-7pm. Tell us if we should just continue to E-ville, E2...
